Water Resources Engineer- Hydrologist

Job Responsibilities
This position will be responsible for performing hydraulic and hydrologic analyses and related tasks.

Project Engineering Responsibilities:
· Project analysis and design; internal and external project team communication; and project report and public presentation preparation.

Technical Responsibilities:
· Stormwater hydraulic and hydrologic analysis; flood control and floodplain project analysis and design; rainfall-runoff modeling; H & H report support and preparation; FEMA application preparation, stormwater facility analysis and design.
· Water resource statistical analysis; advanced computer methods in water resource engineering; and water quality, sediment transport, and fluvial geomorphology experience beneficial.

Qualifications:
· B.S. Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or Related Field,
· 5 years of directly applicable experience,
· Experience working on projects contracted by one or more of the following clients:
US Army Corps of Engineers, FEMA, State Water Agencies, and county / municipal
Governments,
· Ability to organize and prioritize multiple project assignments,
· Software skills desired: ArcGIS, HEC-HMS, HEC-GeoHMS, HEC-RAS, HEC-GeoRAS,
· SWMM5, FLO-2D, WMS, and other related rainfall-runoff applications.
