Water Resources Project Manager

Job Responsibilities
Project Management Responsibilities:
· Project planning and implementation; project team communication both internal and external; scope management; task and quality control; completion of technical work with support of group staff; project report preparation; and public presentations.
Technical Responsibilities:
· Stormwater hydraulic and hydrologic analysis; flood control and floodplain project analysis and design; rainfall-runoff modeling; FEMA application preparation and processing; stormwater facility planning and design.
· Water resource statistical analysis; private and municipal civil engineering infrastructure analysis and design; and advanced computer methods in water resource engineering.
Qualifications:
• B.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or closely related field)
• 10 years of directly applicable water resource engineering experience
· Professional Engineer registration in Nevada or the ability to obtain this registration within 6 onths
• Capability to manage and mentor project level engineers and hydrologists
• Knowledge and experience with applicable regulatory standards (FEMA, USACE, EPA, etc.)
• Excellent oral and technical written communication skills
• Ability to organize and manage multiple project assignments
• Desired software skills include: HEC-HMS, HEC-GeoHMS, HEC-RAS, HEC-GeoRAS, SWMM5, FLO-2D, WMS, and related GIS based rainfall-runoff applications.
· M.S. Degree in Water Resource Engineering or Hydrologic Sciences a plus
